Brent has been asked to speak at numerous different college classes, corporations and other business organizations. During his events he discusses what happens when your worst fear becomes your reality, his 5 rules of how to adapt and survive in Prison and how they can be applied in life and business.
"Our group has never had a speaker move us the way Brent Cassity did today. His story is compelling and he spoke with such ease, humility and grace that it felt like he was just part of our group. To be able to withstand what he did and still hold his family together is a heroic feat that very few could manage."

"I had the privilege of hosting Brent as a speaker in a philanthropic group I am involved with called "The Dinner." Within the 1st few words that came out of his mouth, he had the room's attention and I can say that everyone was eager to hear what he had to say as the night progressed. It is worth mentioning that I am tasked with getting speakers each month, so I naturally navigate towards individuals that have a certain demeanor, level of confidence, and all of them have to "add value" to our lives in some way or another. Mr. Cassity was such a pleasure to learn about, and I can say in all confidence that he was one of the best speakers I have had the pleasure of working with. Sure made me look good haha!
Brent had us all on the edge of our seats the whole time he spoke, but he did in a way where we didn't realize that was the case. Not quite sure how to express what I am trying to say, it was very intriguing and so interesting, I could not wait to keep listening, but his character and delivery also just went so smoothly and effortlessly, that I did not realize how wrapped up I was in the speech until the end! Then the questions just came piling in, which is a great indication that people in the room were interested and needed more! On the drive home I found myself saying "WOW, that was solid!"
I can't thank him enough for taking time from his family to spend with us, and talking to us about his roller coaster of an experience. One that he made darn sure was going to make him a better person, and an overall learning opportunity. Sure, going to prison for any amount of time may not be the path any of us would choose to learn a life lesson, Brent has somehow made it an almost attractive and desirable trait about his life. It is the absolute last thing I would think about him in passing, so it is just flat out cool that he embraces it, has the courage to do what 99% would not, and that is simply being open and honest about being in prison and being able to talk to people about how to turn a nightmare, into a great success story. Truly a pleasure writing a few kind words about Brent Cassity! Never hesitate to reach out if you would like to know more!

"Brent came to speak for our Business Management class at Mizzou. He shows such a passion and enthusiasm for his work that it's contagious; he tackles his life's experiences - a somewhat difficult subject matter - not only tactfully but energetically. His tip about humbling yourself in the fact of other's successes when asking for advice really landed for me. As students, we meet more experienced and more successful people everyday, but it's difficult to humble yourself in these situations - Brent reminded us that this is absolutely key to growing our careers and in our personal lives."
- Ben H. (Mizzou Business Student)
"After hearing Brent's journey, I was very inspired by his resilience and dedication to improving his life even throughout rough times. I resonated deeply with his 5 points & used intentionally practice a few, but strayed away from them. Going forward they will be practiced daily. Thank you for the motivation and reminder, Brent!"

“As an avid listener of the Nightmare Success podcast, I asked Brent to come speak to my team during our monthly department-wide meeting. Brent is a talented public speaker and is able to provide any size audience with actionable takeaways that can easily be applied to better navigate personal and professional challenges we inevitably face in life. Brent’s life has been a heck of a journey. He discussed the wide spectrum of successes, setbacks, and comebacks he’s experienced both professionally and personally as well as his 5 Rules for Surviving and Adapting Life and Prison. Brent is very open about the struggles he’s faced, the mistakes he’s made and more importantly the valuable lessons he’s learned along the way. Love the Henry Ford quote he shared “Whether you think you can or you can’t…you are right.”. As humans, we all face varying degrees of fears and nightmares throughout life and when the going gets tough, mindset is key. Brent is a living testament to the power of the mind. Brent is on a mission to inspire and empower people to knock down some of the prisons they’ve built up in their own minds and set themselves free. Thank you Brent!”
