"The title was catchy. It intrigued me to start reading. What is "Nightmare Success" about? My short answer is that your worst nightmare or fears can be what helps brings you success. And another takeaway had to do with being resilient. The ability to bounce back, or even higher, after a major setback is a clear message that comes from this book. The author shares his deepest feelings about what he was going through during his time in prison. And now he's out and shares it with the world.
While this may not be the typical book I read, I became engrossed in it because of Cassity's story and what he learned during an obviously difficult and trying time. I've read books about overcoming obstacles. Most of these have come in the form of setbacks due to losing a job, losing a loved one, having a physical handicap, etc. This author's journey takes us through a different type of obstacle. He came out on the other side of it, a better person than when he entered into it.
I found the book to be fascinating and motivating. Resilience is an important topic of the day. Many of us are going through some trying times. Here's another lesson, presented in a very different way, that will give you a different perspective (unless you've been to prison) that will help you grow."
